Arrivals
You will be greeted at the airport by a Tukari representative and transferred to your hotel.
Please make sure that you retrieve all of your personal belongings from the car and that your luggage is at the hotel before checking in. Proceed to the reception desk where you will be asked to register (fill out form) and be given your room key. Please be aware that many hotels require you to leave a credit card voucher when registering to cover an charges that you sign to your room. Bellboys are available to take your luggage to your room. The tip is normally $1-1.50 USD per bag.
 Check In
Check out in most hotels is at 12:00 pm, therefore, you may find that you room might not be ready by the time you arrive. The front desk will inform you when your room is ready. But, you don't have to lose any time! You can put on your bathing suit (the front desk will tell you where you make change), safely leave your luggage at the check room and enjoy the beach or the swimming pool until then!
Safety Deposit Box
We strongly recommend that you obtain a safety deposit box after check-in and that you keep your tourist card, personal documents, travelers checks, etc. in it throughout your stay. Please take care of the key - there is charge if you lose it.
Individual Departures
Flight Reconfirmation
If you missed our welcome briefing, we need to confirm your flight back home, therefore we would like you to come to our hospitality desk on the first or second day of your vacation to give us your flight number and departure time. We will call you one day before you leave to confirm the time you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the airport.
Checking Out
Standard check out is between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please ensure that you have settled any outstanding charges (telephone calls, room service, etc.) and returned your safety deposit and room keys to the desk at least 15 minutes before pick up time. Make sure you do not leave anything in your room and ask the bellman to take care of your luggage.
At the Airport
You should arrive at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before your scheduled departure. Please have your ticket, identification (passport or birth certificate) and tourist card handy in your carry-on luggage. Proceed to the check-in desk where you will be given your boarding pass and luggage receipts.
For international flights, you may then go upstairs, where you will pass through airport security and enter the departure lounge. You will find a small selection of gift shops, cafeterias and duty free shops located in the lounge. You will be asked to proceed to the boarding gate approximately thirty minutes before your departure time.
Duty Free
U. S. residents may return home with up to $400 worth of merchandise, which can include one litre of alcoholic beverages per person (if over 21), 100 cigars and 200 cigarettes. Some merchandise, such as fresh fruit, vegetables and plants are not allowed into the United States. On your flight home, you will receive a customs declaration card to complete and turn in to U.S. Customs officials upon your arrival.
